Softron M8e Bundle (8xMR, DC 12G/4C, Dongle, Sonnet SEL Chassis) The M8e is a hardware WARNING While the card has 8 SDI in/out connectors, 4 connectors are 3G and 4 connectors are 12G. You may not be able to achieve all these depending on the format and computer. The card is capable of doing four channels of UHD50/60p when used in an internal PCIe slot, but due to Thunderbolt bandwidth limitations, in 8bit, you will be able to do maximum 2 channels of UHD50/60p, or 4 channels of UHD25/30p, or 7 channels of HD60p, or 8 channels of HD50p. If you want to combine HD and 4K, note that if you use one 12G connector to receive a 4K signal, you'll have only 4 connectors available for HD. You won't be able to do one 4K and seven HD. SERIAL NUMBER OR DONGLE ? Serial numbers are not available with the M8e. The price include the dongle with the 8 licences. ADDING MORE LICENSES TO THE DONGLE? With the M8e, the 8 MovieRecorder licenses are provided on a dongle (included), and can thus not be split on different computers. But if you want to run on the same computer for example a license of OnTheAir Video or OnTheAir Video Express, you can ask us to add it to the dongle. A dongle can hold up to 20 licenses. AVAILABILITY Shipping costs are included for the US and EU, but duties costs are not included. So check with your local customs about the price of duties.
