Impulse Cameras Shipping Policy

At Impulse Cameras, we work to deliver your order quickly and safely. Orders ship from our Oak Creek, WI store or directly from authorized distributors/manufacturers.
Processing Times

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days.

Orders placed after 3 PM CST, weekends, or holidays process the next business day.

Custom/special orders may require extra time; we’ll notify you if so.
Shipping Methods & Delivery Times
Carriers: UPS, FedEx, USPS
Estimated transit (business days, not guaranteed):

Standard: 3–7 days

Expedited: 2–3 days
-
Express: 1–2 days
Carrier/weather/security delays are outside our control.
Shipping Costs

Calculated at checkout by weight, size, destination.

Free Standard Shipping on U.S. orders $99+ (excludes oversized/heavy/hazardous/high-value items; surcharges may apply).
Tracking
A shipment confirmation email with tracking goes out when your order ships. Allow up to 24 hours for scans to appear.
Signature Required for High-Value Orders
To protect you and reduce theft/fraud:

Orders $500 and up ship Signature Required by default.

We strongly advise against waiving signature. If you ask us to remove it, you assume full responsibility once the carrier marks the package delivered (loss/theft not covered by us).

We may apply Signature Required on any order at our discretion (e.g., high-risk address, reshipment, past claim history).
Route Package Protection (Highly Recommended)
At checkout you can add Route Package Protection for low-friction coverage against loss, theft, or damage in transit.

If protected by Route, file your claim directly through Route using your confirmation email or order lookup. Most claims resolve quickly with either a replacement (when available) or a refund.

Claim windows: Lost: file after 7 days (no later than 30 days) from last tracking update; Stolen (marked delivered, not received): file within 5–15 days; Damaged: file within 15 days of delivery (retain all packaging).

If you decline Route, you acknowledge that Impulse Cameras is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage after carrier acceptance. You’ll need to pursue a carrier claim, which is slower and not guaranteed.
(If you want us to force Route on orders over a certain amount, tell us the threshold and we’ll update this.)
Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Shipments (without Route)

Lost/Delayed: Start with the carrier; request a trace. Email us your order number and the carrier case ID—we’ll assist where possible.

Damaged: Photograph the box, packing materials, and item within 48 hours and email support@impulsecameras.com. Keep all packaging until the claim is resolved.

Once a package is marked Delivered, non-Route theft claims are typically denied by carriers.
Address Accuracy & Delivery Issues

You’re responsible for entering a complete and correct shipping address.

Orders returned due to bad/undeliverable addresses will be reshipped at the buyer’s expense or refunded minus outbound shipping and any return fees.

We cannot reroute packages after shipment.
Fraud Prevention
For security, we may:

Hold orders for verification, require shipment to the billing address, or cancel and refund suspicious orders.

Refuse shipment to freight forwarders or P.O. boxes for high-value items.
Backorders & Preorders

We’ll email an estimated ship date. Your payment reserves the unit; it ships once inventory lands.

Multi-item orders may ship separately.
International Shipping

We ship to select countries. Duties, VAT, taxes, and brokerage are the buyer’s responsibility and are not included at checkout unless explicitly shown.

International delivery estimates exclude customs clearance time. We may require Signature on all international shipments.
Order Changes & Cancellations

If you need to modify or cancel, contact us immediately. Once an order is packed or shipped, changes/cancellations aren’t guaranteed.
