MID49's Audio Breakout AB-4 converts the two mini XLR inputs on a Canon C80 or C70 into two standard full-size XLRs, letting these cameras accept professional microphones without individual adapter cables on each input. It mounts via a captive 1/4-20 screw to the camera body or a side plate, and its 12-inch cable with a low-profile right-angle connector keeps cabling tidy against the camera. Because it's a passive adapter, there's no power draw or electronics to add failure points on set.
