The XA45 is a compact ENG-style camcorder built for documentary and journalism work, pairing UHD 4K capture with a 1/2.3" sensor, dual XLR audio inputs, and both mini-HDMI and BNC 3G-SDI outputs so it fits into existing broadcast workflows. An integrated 20x optical zoom and an eight-bladed circular iris give it flexibility in the field, while dual SD card slots support automatic overflow or simultaneous recording for redundancy. A DIGIC DV 6 processor handles the 4K30 and 1080p60 recording with the low noise and high sensitivity needed for run-and-gun shooting.
