Description
The Explore Scientific EXOS2-GT Equatorial Mount with PMC-Eight GoTo is a WiFi/Bluetooth-enabled tracking mount built for astrophotographers and visual observers who need a portable mount that can still handle a heavier telescope. Stepper motors drive the GoTo system for precise, strain-tolerant tracking, and the mount can be controlled wirelessly or wired from a phone, tablet, or PC.
- 28 lb Astrophotography Payload: Rated for 28 lbs of imaging payload plus counterweights, and up to 40 lbs for visual use.
- Stepper Motor Drive: Belt-driven stepper motors handle strain without damaging mechanical or electronic components.
- Wireless PMC-Eight GoTo Control: Controlled over WiFi or Bluetooth from the free ExploreStars app on iOS, Android, Amazon Fire, or Windows.
- ASCOM Compatible: Works with third-party astronomy software including Cartes du Ciel, MaxIm DL, Stellarium, and TheSky via the included ASCOM driver.
- Stainless Steel Tripod: Tripod extends from 26.8" to 42.5" and includes a bubble level.
- Includes Counterweights & AC Adapter: Ships with two 11.25 lb counterweights, an AC adapter, and a polar-finder scope pre-installed.
