The Accusys ExaSAN Carry is a portable Thunderbolt 3 and PCIe 3.0 RAID storage system built for DIT, post-production, and SAN workflows on location. Its rugged, compact 8-bay design is built to withstand the rigors of travel without sacrificing performance.
- Thunderbolt 3 performance: Reaches transfer speeds up to 2800 MB/s (RAID 0, using Intel SSD), fast enough for large file workflows.
- Shock-tested durability: Withstands 250G/2ms mechanical shock when packed in a Pelican 1510-compatible case without damaging installed hard drives.
- 8-bay RAID system: Supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 0+1, and JBOD across 3.5"/2.5" SAS or SATA HDD/SSD drives, with 2GB ECC-protected DDR3 cache.
- Dual Thunderbolt 3 plus PCIe 3.0: Two Thunderbolt 3 ports and one PCIe 3.0 port simplify data transfer between Mac and PC systems.
- User-replaceable modules: Cooling fan and power modules can be swapped by the user in two simple steps, no technician required.
- Optional SSD reader trays: Up to 2 SSD portable trays convert the unit into a 6- or 7-bay RAID system with a built-in SSD reader for fast SSD-to-RAID transfers.
