Iodyne 48TB Pro Data (Dark Space Grey)

The Iodyne Pro Data 48TB is an all-NVMe Thunderbolt RAID array built for desktop and DIT-cart use where a facility needs one shared, high-speed pool of storage rather than juggling individual drives. It's aimed at editors, colorists, audio engineers, and VFX artists who need to work from the same active project simultaneously. Twelve internal NVMe SSDs and eight Thunderbolt ports let it anchor a whole workgroup's storage in a single chassis.

• 12 NVMe SSDs over a 64GB/s PCIe fabric: Combines all twelve drives into a single storage pool with shared data and parity space.
• 8 Thunderbolt ports: Connects displays, peripherals, and additional Pro Data units without giving up a port on the host computer.
• RAID-6 with AES-XTS-256 encryption: Protects data at rest, with keys held in a hardware Secure Enclave and Keychain-protected passwords.
• Configurable containers: Independent Transactional RAID-6 and RAID-0 Scratch containers keep critical work and temp files separated.
• Daisy-chain up to 6 units per port: Scales to roughly a petabyte of solid-state storage across chained Pro Data devices.
