The NiSi 58mm Natural Night Filter is built specifically to block the wavelengths of light pollution that wash out night-sky images — mercury vapor, sodium, and low-CRI streetlights among them.
It's made from precision-annealed optical glass finished with NiSi's NANO Coating.
- Purpose: blocks the most common wavelengths of mercury-vapor, sodium, and low-CRI streetlight pollution from night sky images.
- Glass: precision-annealed optical glass, finely ground and polished for high-megapixel sensors.
- NANO Coating: NiSi's multi-layer NANO coating reduces surface reflection to cut down on ghosting and flare.
