Description
The Blackmagic 2110 IP UpDownCross 12G is a standards converter built to convert between SMPTE-2110 IP video, 12G-SDI, and HDMI connections. It's designed to integrate existing SDI equipment into modern IP-based broadcast systems without replacing the whole signal chain.
- Bidirectional 2110/SDI/HDMI conversion: Converts between SMPTE-2110 IP video, 12G-SDI, and HDMI with high-quality conversion across SD, HD, and Ultra HD standards.
- SMPTE ST2110 compliance: Supports SMPTE-2110-20 video, -21 traffic shaping, -30 audio, and -40 ancillary data, with PTP clock sync and NMOS support for virtual routing.
- Reference input and re-sync: Built-in re-sync to a common PTP clock, with a reference video output for locking external SDI gear.
- Redundant power supplies: Supports both AC and PoE+ power so the converter keeps running if one source is lost.
- USB webcam output: Front-panel USB port doubles as an HD webcam output.
- 10-bit video quality: Maintains full 10-bit precision with SDI re-clocking for low-jitter output.
