The Lumantek ez-MD+ is a compact HDMI/SDI cross-converter built for AV integrators who need to move video between HDMI and SDI equipment in either direction from one small box. Its genlock system and audio mux/demux features are aimed at installers who need synchronized signals and embedded audio handled without separate hardware.
- Bidirectional HDMI/SDI Conversion: Converts HDMI to SDI or SDI to HDMI from the same compact unit.
- Up/Down Scaling with Screen Ratio Control: Rescales incoming video anywhere from 480i to 1080p60, in 16:9 full or 4:3 pillar box.
- XLR Audio Embedding/De-Embedding: A 9-pin serial to 4x XLR breakout is included for balanced audio.
- Rotary Audio Delay Control: Adjusts audio delay against the video source in 50ms steps.
- Genlock Frame Synchronization: Switches between Free Running, Input Lock, and Genlock modes to properly align signals with an external source.
