Description
The MOTU 112D is a 112-channel digital audio interface and MADI router built for broadcast, live sound, and studio installations that need to move large channel counts between AES/EBU, ADAT, MADI, and AVB networked audio with near-zero latency. It combines a full 64-channel MADI interface with 24 channels each of AES/EBU and ADAT optical, and can route or convert any input to any output. Because it runs standalone with web app control from any browser, it works as a networked audio router even without a computer attached.
- 112 simultaneous channels: Combines 24 channels of AES/EBU, 24 channels of ADAT optical, and 64 channels of MADI for 112 total channels of digital I/O, all active at once.
- Flexible routing and conversion: Routes any input to any output (or multiple outputs) and converts between formats, including to and from the computer and any device on the AVB network.
- 256-channel computer I/O: Delivers up to 128 networked audio channels in and out simultaneously over Thunderbolt to a host computer.
- Onboard mixing and effects: A 48-input digital mixer with 12 stereo busses includes modeled vintage effects — reverb, a 4-band EQ, gate, and LA-2A-style compression — running in 32-bit floating point.
- Standalone and networked operation: Expands with additional MOTU AVB interfaces over standard Ethernet cabling, and can run as a standalone mixer controlled wirelessly from a phone or tablet.
- Included software: Ships with AudioDesk workstation software for Mac and Windows, offering 24-bit recording and 32-bit mixing and mastering.
