The ND1000K is NiSi's strongest standard ND filter, cutting 20 stops of light for exposures that stretch upward of 15 minutes even in bright midday sun. It's built for the "black hole" style of super-long exposure work — turning moving clouds, water, or crowds into a smooth blur over minutes rather than seconds — and it's real optical glass rather than resin, with an infrared coating layer to prevent color shift at this level of light reduction.
