NiSi's Black Mist filters soften harsh contrast and diffuse highlights for a cinematic look, commonly used to take the edge off skin blemishes and wrinkles in portraits or to add a filmic glow to night and landscape shots. This 58mm kit includes two intensities, 1/4 and 1/8, so you can dial in a lighter or heavier diffusion effect depending on the scene, plus a case for storing both filters together.
- Two intensities included: 1/4 and 1/8 strength Black Mist filters in 58mm, with 1/4 a common starting point for stills and 1/8 for filming.
- Suppresses highlights, lifts shadows: balances contrast while keeping light sources' centers strong with a soft surrounding glow.
