The NiSi Cinema 6.6x6.6" Yellow Light Blocker (Natural Night) is a rectangular filter built to reduce light pollution in night sky video and photography. It's designed to block the specific wavelengths produced by sodium-vapor, mercury-vapor, and low-CRI LED streetlights.
- Blocks common light pollution wavelengths: Filters out the yellow light from sodium-vapor lamps, mercury-vapor lamps, and low-CRI LEDs common in urban areas.
- Improves astronomical visibility: Increases visibility of astronomical objects while making artificial light sources appear more defined with less glare.
- Optical glass with nano-coating: Each glass surface has a nano-coating layer for clarity, color fidelity, and improved water/oil beading for easier cleaning.
- Fits standard 4mm filter holders: Compatible with filter holders or matte boxes built for 4mm-thick rectangular filters.
