Description
The NiSi S6 PRO Circular IR ND8 (0.9) 3 Stop is built for the NiSi S6 150mm filter holder system, screwing into the S6 adapter ring in place of the kit's included Pro Screw-In Circular Polarizer. Its 0.9 density gives a 3-stop exposure reduction, commonly used for waterfalls and moving water at 0.5-2 second shutter speeds.
- 3-stop light reduction: Lets you shoot with a slower shutter speed or wider aperture than the ambient light would normally allow.
- True-to-life color: High-quality optical glass (not resin) with nano coating avoids the color shift common on lower-quality ND filters.
- IR protection coating: Blocks the infrared light that would otherwise cast an unwanted red tint.
- Waterproof, scratch-resistant nano coating: Wipes clean of fingerprints, dust, and water spots.
- S5 adapter note: If used with an older-generation S5 adaptor, the S6 holder frame must also be used.
