The Explore Scientific 2-inch Comet Hunter Focuser is a dual-speed Crayford-style focuser built for astrophotographers who need precise, smooth focus control, originally developed as part of the David H. Levy Comet Hunter Telescope but sold separately for use on other setups. Its 10:1 micro-focusing knobs allow fine focus adjustment alongside a rough focus knob for quick coarse changes, and a tension adjustment lets an owner compensate for the added weight of heavier eyepieces or cameras. Included extension tubes let users dial in back focus for different eyepieces or camera setups.
