The Explore Scientific ED80-FCD100 Series (FCD100-0806-01) is an 80mm apochromatic refractor using genuine Hoya FCD100 extra-low dispersion glass, comparable in performance to Ohara FPL-53, in a true diffraction-limited air-spaced triplet design. It's compact enough to serve as a grab-and-go instrument on its own, or to mount piggyback on a larger telescope for separating guiding and imaging duties in astrophotography.
