The Zacuto VCT Pro Jr. Baseplate combines an ARCA Swiss top with a VCT14-compatible bottom, built around a curved gel shoulder pad that Zacuto positions as the best in the industry for shoulder-mounted rigs. A sliding red ARCA Swiss top plate gives 6 inches of camera balance adjustment for lens changes or rebalancing the rig on the shoulder, and slides off entirely to transition the camera to a tripod or slider via the ACT Mounting Plate or any ARCA-compatible mount. Its rod mount sits set back in the plate, opening up more accessory-capable area under the lens for a follow focus or matte box.
