Description
The Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K is a handheld full-frame digital film camera built around a 6048x4032 HDR sensor with dual native ISO and L-Mount lens support. Its direct-to-USB-C recording and 12-bit Blackmagic RAW output are designed for cinematographers who want maximum image quality in a compact body.
- Full-frame 6K HDR sensor: 36mm x 24mm sensor delivers 13 stops of dynamic range with dual native ISO of 400 and 3200.
- Multiple shooting resolutions and frame rates: Records up to 6048x4032 open gate at 36fps, 6048x2520 at 60fps, or 1920x1080 at up to 120fps, with an OLPF for improved detail handling.
- CFexpress and USB-C recording: Records Blackmagic RAW or H.264 proxies to CFexpress Type B cards or directly to external USB-C disks.
- 5-inch touchscreen with 1500 nits brightness: LCD capacitive touchscreen provides menu control, focus/iris adjustment, and a bright, viewable image in daylight.
- Automatic lens metadata: Electronic L-Mount lenses automatically populate lens data, project, scene, take, and note metadata, with optional embedded 3D LUTs.
- Included DaVinci Resolve Studio: Ships with a DaVinci Resolve Studio activation key plus Blackmagic RAW Player, SDK, and Speed Test software.
