6U SKB Static Shock Rack (20 RD)

The SKB 3RS 6U (20 RD) is a static shock rack built with an aluminum-alloy and steel rack chassis inside a roto-molded shell, giving it the rigidity of a metal rack frame with the shock isolation and weatherproofing of SKB's case platform. Its 20-inch rail-to-rail depth and 6U of rack space suit mid-size broadcast or audio racks that need real shock protection without the depth of SKB's larger touring cases. It's one of eight sizes in the 3RS Static Shock Rack line, so it shares hardware and stacking compatibility with the rest of the range.

• Metal rack chassis: The inner rack is built from high-strength aluminum alloy extrusions with 11-gauge hot rolled carbon steel rack rails meeting EIA-310 standards.
• Shock and airflow: 8 elastomeric isolators support a 40-150 lb standard payload (160-300 lbs extended as a special order), with clearance built in for ambient air circulation and heat dissipation.
• Military-rated shell: Roto-molded Linear Medium Density Polyethylene meets or exceeds MIL-STD-810G for impact resistance.
• Standard rack fit: 20" rail-to-rail depth, 19" rack width per ANSI/EIA-310-C, with square-hole rails accepting #10-32 US or 6mm international cage nuts.
• Cross-compatible stacking: Molded-in stacking ribs and lugs stack with all SKB 3RR and 3RS cases as well as competitor cases.
• Field-ready hardware: 4 spring-loaded lift handles, an automatic pressure relief valve, and gasket-sealed lids with lid hangers.
