The Accusys A12S3-PS ExaSAN is a 12-bay PCIe 3.0 RAID storage system built for 4K editing workflows that need serious throughput without the cost and complexity of a traditional DAS or SAN. It delivers over 2500 MB/s read and 2000 MB/s write performance directly over a 32Gb PCIe 3.0 connection, and pairing two units with the optional Z2D HBA card pushes combined throughput to 4000 MB/s. Post houses use it to feed multiple simultaneous video streams straight from local storage during editing.
