Description
The MID49 Baseline 15mm LW for Blackmagic PYXIS is a baseplate built to hold 15mm lightweight rods at the correct distance from the lens center on compatible Blackmagic PYXIS setups. It combines an ARRI dovetail mount underneath with an ARCA dovetail on top for flexible rigging.
- ARRI dovetail mounting: Bottom dovetail slot attaches to the included Baseline ARRI Dovetail or other ARRI-standard dovetails via a top-load locking mechanism.
- Included ARRI Dovetail lower plate: Attaches to tripod plates using 1/4-20 or 3/8-16 screws, or to ARRI-standard bridgeplates with centered or offset screw spacing.
- ARCA dovetail on top: Holds the included ARCA Dovetail, installable by top-loading or sliding in from the back with a safety-pin engagement.
- Center screw slot and rod hole: Accepts 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 mounting screws, plus a vertical rod hole for 1/4-20 lens support posts for adaptors like Metabones.
- Optional rear rod support: Compatible with the separately sold Rod Bracket (15mm LW) for rear 15mm LW rod support.
