The DeckLink 8K Pro G2 is Blackmagic's flagship PCIe capture and playback card, built for post houses and broadcast facilities working in native 8K or high-frame-rate 4K. Its four bi-directional 12G-SDI connections plus HDMI 2.1 let an edit or color suite capture and monitor at the same time without a second card. Feature film and high-end broadcast workflows get the color depth and frame rate headroom that lower-tier capture cards can't provide.
- Four bi-directional 12G-SDI plus HDMI 2.1: Supports SD through full 8K on the same card, switchable per connection.
- Configurable to 4 simultaneous streams: The free DeckLink SDK sets up to four independent video streams in any direction, format, or frame rate up to 4K DCI 60p.
- Full Rec. 2020 color depth: Handles 8/10-bit YUV 4:2:2 and 10/12-bit RGB 4:4:4 for high dynamic range workflows.
- High frame rate support: Captures and plays back up to 120fps in HD and 4K, and up to 60fps in native 8K.
- 64 channels of embedded audio: Each of the four 12G-SDI connections carries embedded audio for complex multi-channel productions.
