Blackmagic Design DeckLink 8K Pro Mini is a low-profile capture and playback card built for next-generation 8K digital cinema work, with 4 independent mini-BNC 12G-SDI connections that cover every standard from SD through 8K DCI. It handles high frame rate, 12-bit RGB 4:4:4 video and full Rec. 2020 color, positioning it for high-resolution, high-dynamic-range workflows rather than standard HD/UHD capture.
- 4x Bi-Directional 12G-SDI: mini BNC connectors support SD through 8K, single, dual-link, and quad-link 4:2:2/4:4:4, 2D/3D switchable, for both input and output.
- 12-Bit RGB 4:4:4: up to 8Kp30 DCI in 8/10/12-bit RGB 4:4:4, plus 8/10-bit YUV 4:2:2 across all modes, with Rec. 601/709/2020 color space support.
- HDR Support: HDR static metadata packing with HLG and PQ transfer characteristics.
- PCIe Gen 3, 8-Lane: compatible with both 8-lane and 16-lane PCI Express slots.
- Broad Codec Support: AVC-Intra, DNxHR/DNxHD, Apple ProRes 4444 through Proxy, and uncompressed 8/10-bit 4:2:2 and 10-bit 4:4:4.
- Included Software: DaVinci Resolve, Media Express, Disk Speed Test, LiveKey, and Blackmagic Desktop Video Utility for Mac and Windows.
