The Blackmagic DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G HDMI 2.0 daughter card is a replacement mezzanine card for the DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G PCIe board, built for editors who need HDMI 2.0 I/O instead of the HDMI 1.4b the card originally shipped with. Swapping in this daughter card upgrades the board's HDMI ports to full HDMI 2.0 while keeping two bi-directional optical fiber ports for SDI-over-fiber connections. It requires the 10.4.3 driver and only functions when connected to the DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G main board.
- HDMI 2.0 upgrade: Replaces the original HDMI 1.4b daughter card with one HDMI 2.0 input and one HDMI 2.0 output.
- Optical fiber connectivity: Includes two bi-directional optical fiber ports for SDI-over-fiber workflows.
