Description
This Mini Converter goes the opposite direction from the SDI-to-Analog model in this same line — taking analog video in HD/SD component, NTSC, PAL, or S-Video and converting it up to SDI, with the option to embed SDI audio from balanced AES/EBU or analog inputs. It's built for bringing analog sources like Betacam SP, VHS, set-top boxes, and HDV cameras into an SDI-based workflow. Like the rest of the Mini Converter line, it auto-switches between SD and HD formats and includes a redundant SDI input for mission-critical use.
- Analog to SDI conversion: HD/SD component, NTSC, PAL, or S-Video sources converted to SDI video.
- Embedded SDI audio option: balanced AES/EBU or analog audio inputs embedded into the SDI signal.
- Legacy equipment bridging: connects Betacam SP, VHS, set-top boxes, and HDV cameras into an SDI-based signal chain.
- Auto SD/HD switching with redundant SDI input: automatically fails over to a backup input cable if the main SDI input is lost.
