The Blackmagic Mini Converter HDMI to SDI 6G converts an HDMI source into broadcast-quality SDI across SD, HD, and Ultra HD formats, aimed at bringing consumer HDMI cameras or computers into a professional SDI signal chain. Independent audio inputs mean it can embed SDI audio from the HDMI signal itself, or from separate AES/EBU or balanced analog sources, whichever the setup calls for. Because it auto-detects NTSC or PAL and switches rate automatically, it doesn't require manual format configuration on set.
