The Blackmagic Design Teranex Mini - SDI to Analog 12G converts modern 12G-SDI sources down to analog video for connecting legacy equipment like Betacam SP decks, VHS units, and analog monitors. It's aimed at broadcast engineers and archivists who need to bridge current SDI infrastructure with older analog gear rather than retiring it outright. A built-in down converter also lets Ultra HD sources feed SD or HD component equipment.
- 12G-SDI to Analog Conversion: Converts SD, HD, 6G, and 12G-SDI rates to analog video output, with a built-in down converter for Ultra HD to SD/HD component.
- Connects Legacy Equipment: Supports connecting Betacam SP, VHS, and analog video monitors to a modern SDI signal chain.
- Balanced Analog and AES/EBU Audio: Two channels of balanced analog audio plus four channels of AES/EBU digital audio are available via XLR, with timecode output on the right channel.
- USB or Ethernet Configuration: Updated and configured via USB or Ethernet with automatic re-clocking across formats.
