Description
The Blackmagic Teranex Mini Optical to HDMI 12G converts 12G optical fiber and 12G-SDI signals to HDMI, letting HDMI televisions work as SDI broadcast monitors. It's built for connecting fiber or SDI sources to HDMI displays and projectors, with automatic down-conversion for Ultra HD.
- 12G optical fiber and SDI input: Accepts 1x 12G-SDI optical fiber input (LC connector, single mode) and 1x 12G-SDI input, both with SD/HD/2K/4K auto switching.
- HDMI 2.0 output: Outputs up to 2160p60 via HDMI 2.0 Type A, automatically down-converting Ultra HD to the best format the connected monitor supports.
- Loop-through output: 12G-SDI loop output lets the signal pass through to additional equipment.
- De-embedded audio outputs: Outputs 2-channel balanced analog audio or 4-channel AES/EBU digital audio via XLR, with timecode output configurable on the right XLR.
- USB or Ethernet configuration: Settings and firmware updates are managed over USB or Ethernet, with signal re-clocking built in.
- Note: Does not include the SFP optical module.
