Blackmagic Design SmartView 4K G3

The Blackmagic Design SmartView 4K G3 is a rack-mount broadcast monitor built for facilities transitioning between SDI and IP infrastructure, with native SMPTE-2110 IP video support alongside traditional 12G-SDI inputs. An operator can switch between SDI and IP sources at the push of a button, and the monitor automatically follows the input to display SD, HD, or Ultra HD content without manual reconfiguration. Its thin, lightweight aluminum chassis is built to sit at the top of an equipment rack without blocking airflow to the gear below.

• Dual SDI and IP inputs: Two 12G-SDI inputs plus built-in optical and copper SMPTE-2110 IP video connections, both of which can output to a 12G-SDI loop.
• Automatic format switching: Switches between SDI and IP at the push of a button and automatically follows the input across SD, HD, and Ultra HD standards.
• Broadcast monitoring tools: On-screen overlays include focus peaking, safe area and safe title markers, and 4 individually adjustable frame guides.
• Built-in 3D LUTs: Supports 3D LUTs for converting log film gamma or custom HDR profiles, or for applying creative color looks exported from DaVinci Resolve.
• Tally and NMOS integration: Supports the Blackmagic SDI Tally Protocol for on-air/preview indication and NMOS (IS-04/IS-05) for discovery and connection management on 2110 IP networks.
• Rack-friendly design: A thin, lightweight machined aluminum chassis allows airflow to ventilate the rest of the rack, with universal 100-240VAC power plus a backup 12V DC input.
