The Blackmagic Design ATEM 1 M/E Constellation 4K is a rack-mount live production switcher built for concerts, live sports, and house-of-worship teams that need a large number of full-standards-converted SDI inputs in a compact, quiet chassis. It includes 10 SDI inputs, 6 SDI outputs, DVE, 4 chroma keyers, a 16-way multiview, media players, talkback, and a built-in Fairlight audio mixer.
- 10 Standards-Converted SDI Inputs: Each of the 10 12G-SDI inputs includes a full standards converter, with 6 SDI outputs for program, preview, and aux feeds.
- Built-In Control Panel: A compact rack-mount design includes a built-in control panel and large LCD for on-unit operation and menu access.
- Advanced Production Tools: 4 chroma keyers, DVEs, a 16-way multiview, media players, and SuperSource processors support complex multi-layer productions.
- Fairlight Audio Mixer: A built-in Fairlight mixer includes a compressor, limiter, 6-band parametric EQ, and expander on each audio input.
- Program/Preview Broadcast Workflow: Uses the same program/preview switching style as large broadcasters, via free ATEM Software Control or an optional hardware Advanced Panel.
