The Blackmagic Design ATEM Microphone Converter adds four analog microphone or line inputs to an ATEM switcher's MADI port, built for productions that need more audio sources than a switcher's built-in inputs allow. Its high-dynamic-range conversion design is aimed at audio engineers who want broadcast-quality preamps without the noise floor issues of a typical converter.
- 4 Mic/Line Selectable Inputs with 48V Phantom Power: Combined XLR/TRS sockets accept both microphone and line-level sources.
- 8 ADCs per Input Channel: Work together as one ultra-high-dynamic-range converter, delivering 131dB(A) dynamic range per input.
- -129dBV Noise Floor: A digital preamplifier design eliminates the analog gain stage that typically injects noise.
- MADI Input and Output for Daisy-Chaining: Stack multiple converters to embed more than 4 channels into a single MADI link.
- HDMI Monitoring Output: Displays scrolling audio waveforms, level meters, and per-channel labels on any connected screen.
- USB and Ethernet Remote Admin: Supports remote configuration and software updates.
