The Blackmagic Smart Videohub CleanSwitch 12x12 is a 12x12 SDI router built for facilities that need to cleanly switch between video sources without guaranteed genlocked timing, resynchronizing every input so switches between router crosspoints are glitch-free. It shares the same multi-format technology as other Smart Videohub models, so SD, HD, and Ultra HD sources can share the same router at the same time.
- Full resynchronization on every input: Automatically re-times all 12 inputs so switching between crosspoints is clean and glitch-free, even without genlocked sources.
- Direct-to-air cuts capability: Outputs different resolutions at the same frame rate directly to air for smooth, cuts-only production.
- Multi-format technology across all 12x12 crosspoints: Connects SD, HD, and Ultra HD equipment on the same router simultaneously.
- Automatic standard detection and switching: Detects format changes on SDI inputs instantly, working across NTSC, PAL, and other frame rates.
- Control from the front panel or remotely via Ethernet: Managed with Blackmagic's Videohub Control Panel software on Mac or PC.
