The EtherWAN EMC1600 is a 16-bay rackmount chassis built to house and power EtherWAN media converters and Ethernet extenders, designed for network installers who need to manage a large number of media converters as a single reliable system rather than a pile of standalone wall-warts.
- 16 Hot-Swappable Bays: Add, remove, or replace supported media converters and Ethernet extenders without interrupting other bays.
- Redundant, Load-Sharing Power Supplies: Internal power supplies provide both redundancy and load sharing across the chassis.
- Electrically Isolated Bays: Each bay has fused over-current protection, isolating faults from the rest of the chassis.
- Worldwide AC Power Input: Runs on standard AC power for use in any region.
- Standard 19" 2U Rack Enclosure: Solid metal housing fits standard rack installations.
- Broad Converter Compatibility: Supports EtherWAN's EL2321, EL2211, EL2315, EM120, EL100/EL200, and ED3501 series converters.
