The Explore FirstLight EXOS Nano Mount EQ3 is a light-duty German Equatorial mount and tripod built for small telescopes. It suits astronomers running a small Mak-Cassegrain, small refractor, small solar scope, or an ED80mm who need a lightweight, quick-to-set-up mount rather than a heavier full-size EQ rig.
- 15 lb Capacity, Vixen-Style Dovetail: Accepts telescopes up to 15 pounds with a Vixen-style universal dovetail bar; the mount head alone weighs 10 pounds.
- Sturdy Steel ST1 Tripod: 1.25" steel legs extend from 25.5" to 45" to suit different observing heights and setups.
- Compact Collapsed Footprint: Collapses to 25.5" without the mount head or 42" with it attached, for easier transport and storage.
