Description
The Kinefinity FF Heavy OLPF (OLPF-FF3) is a full-frame optical low-pass filter built specifically for the Kinefinity MAVO LF, using a more complex, higher-performance crystal process than the standard "light" OLPF to suppress aliasing and moire more aggressively while keeping images sharp. It's the "Optional/heavy" counterpart to the standard-issue "light" OLPF-FF1 that ships with the camera.
- Built for MAVO LF: a full-frame optical low-pass filter designed specifically to match the MAVO LF sensor.
- Deeper Aliasing Suppression: the "heavy" OLPF FF3 trades a small amount of sharpness for stronger suppression of aliasing and moire artifacts versus the standard "light" OLPF FF1.
- Integrated IR-Cut: shares the same IR-cut design and process as the OLPF FF1, so no separate IR-cut filter is needed in front of the lens.
- Positioned In Front of the Sensor: part of the low-pass filter pack that sits directly ahead of the image sensor.
