The MID49 Microphone Shock Mount (Sideways 15mm Rod), made in collaboration with Radius Windshields, mounts to a top 15mm rod like the one on a Sony Burano rather than a stand or boom pole.
It's built to isolate a shotgun or lav-style mic from handling noise and rig vibration.
- Collaboration: made in collaboration with Radius Windshields.
- Mounting: mounts to a top 15mm rod, such as the one found on the Sony Burano.
- Mic Compatibility: recommended for short shotgun, omni, cardioid, and super-cardioid pencil mics 19-25mm in diameter and up to 250mm long.
- Optional Rod: an optional 7" rod lets the viewfinder and shock mount be used together comfortably.
