The Middle Things Fiber Unite 5 12G converts 5 channels of 4K SDI in/out plus a LAN connection into a single 12-channel Neutrik opticalCON MTP fiber cable. It's built for on-location multi-camera workflows where running multiple copper cable runs isn't practical.
- Merges 11 cables into 1: Combines up to 5 channels of 4K SDI in/out and a LAN connection into a single MTP 12 fiber cable.
- Long-distance, interference-free transmission: Optical fiber runs over long distances with zero dropouts and no sensitivity to electromagnetic interference.
- Compact 1U rack design: Fits into an existing video rack, with built-in fans for cooling.
- Rugged opticalCON MTP connector: Compatible with Neutrik's field-rated MTP 12 cable drums, with an automatic shutter that protects fiber cores when disconnected.
- Pairs with Fiber Bridge 5: Works with another Fiber Unite 5 module or a Fiber Bridge 5 to demerge back into individual SDI and LAN connections.
