MOTU Traveler-mk3 FireWire System

The MOTU Traveler-mk3 is a bus-powered FireWire audio interface built for mobile recording, combining four high-quality mic preamps with onboard DSP mixing and effects processing. It provides eight channels of 192kHz analog recording and playback plus twenty channels of ADAT optical, AES/EBU, and S/PDIF digital I/O, and can run as a standalone mixer with or without a connected computer.

• Four XLR/quarter-inch combo mic/instrument inputs: Each with individual preamps, 48V phantom power switches, and Digital Precision Trim control.
• 8 channels of 192kHz analog I/O plus 20 channels of digital I/O: Covers ADAT optical, AES/EBU, and S/PDIF formats for expanding a session's channel count.
• 28 total inputs and 30 total outputs: Functions as a full audio interface or a standalone mixer, with or without a computer connected.
• Onboard CueMix FX digital mixer with zero added latency: Routes and processes live inputs without straining the host computer's CPU.
• Bus-powered with optional battery power: Supports fully mobile recording setups away from AC power.
• Expandable with additional MOTU FireWire interfaces or the 8pre mic input expander: Grows the channel count as a rig's needs increase.
