Description
The ND1000 is NiSi's 10-stop neutral density filter, built for daytime long exposures outside golden hour when a lighter ND wouldn't slow the shutter enough. With the right settings it can stretch exposures up to 5 minutes even in bright conditions, smoothing water and clouds into the long-exposure look landscape photographers look for. It's real optical glass rather than resin, with an infrared coating layer to prevent the red color cast plain ND filters can introduce at small apertures.
- 10-stop neutral density: 3.0 density, 100x100mm size for the NiSi 100mm filter system.
- Up to 5-minute exposures: extends daytime exposures well beyond golden hour with appropriate settings.
