This 9-stop ND is built for shooting outside golden hour, when ambient light is too bright for a lighter ND to give you a meaningful long exposure. With the right settings it can stretch exposures to 30 seconds to a minute even in daylight, letting you get motion blur in water or clouds without waiting for the light to drop. Like the rest of NiSi's ND line, it's real optical glass rather than resin, with an infrared coating layer to prevent the red color cast that plain ND filters can introduce at small apertures.
- 9-stop neutral density: 2.7 density, 100x100mm size for the NiSi 100mm filter system.
- Daytime long exposures: can extend exposures to 30 seconds-1 minute even outside golden hour.
- Optical glass, not resin: nano-coated to preserve true-to-life color and detail.
- Infrared protection coating: corrects the red color cast ND filters can introduce at small apertures.
- Fits standard filter threads 49-95mm: compatible with the NiSi 100mm filter system.
