The NiSi 52mm Circular Black Mist 1/4 is a redevelopment of NiSi's cinema-range Allure Mist Black filter as a circular screw-on, built for stills or video shooters who want a diffused, cinematic look. It lowers contrast and diffuses highlights within the frame, aimed at softening wrinkles and blemishes for a flattering subject image. A high-quality brass frame resists jamming and adds durability compared to standard aluminum filter rings.
- 1/4 diffusion strength: Effect strength roughly doubles with each grade increase across 1/8, 1/4, and 1/2.
- Suppresses highlights, lifts shadows: Balances contrast for a well-rounded, cinematic look.
