The NiSi Explorer Collection 100x100mm Nano IR ND64 (6-stop) is a hardened glass neutral density filter built for active photographers who need extra durability in the field. Its tempered B270 glass and nano coating are designed to resist breakage while preserving true-to-life color.
- Hardened, breakage-resistant glass: Special glass hardening process makes Explorer Collection filters roughly double the strength of typical glass filters.
- 6-stop light reduction: Suited to golden-hour exposures of 1-2 minutes for smooth water or clouds, or shorter exposures that retain water texture.
- True-to-life color: Nano-coated optical glass avoids color shift and detail loss common with lower-quality ND filters.
- Infrared protection coating: Blocks infrared light that would otherwise cast an unwanted red tint at small apertures.
- Fits the NiSi 100mm system: Compatible with lenses using a standard 49mm to 95mm filter thread via the NiSi 100mm filter holder.
