The NiSi Explorer Collection 100x150mm Nano IR Soft Graduated Neutral Density Filter GND8 (3-stop) is a hardened glass filter built for photographers who need extra durability in the field. Its soft-edged transition and tempered B270 glass are designed to darken skies while resisting breakage.
- Hardened, breakage-resistant glass: Special glass hardening process makes Explorer Collection filters roughly double the strength of typical glass filters.
- Soft-edged graduated transition: Densest at the edge and tapering to clear by the middle, suited to irregular horizons like trees, buildings, or mountains.
- True-to-life color: Nano-coated optical glass avoids color shift and detail loss.
- Infrared protection coating: Blocks infrared light that would otherwise cast an unwanted red tint at small apertures.
- Fits the NiSi 100mm system: Compatible with lenses using a standard 49mm to 95mm filter thread via the NiSi 100mm filter holder.
