The Opticis 10m Point to Point All Optical USB Cable extends a USB connection well beyond the standard 5-meter copper limit using fiber optics instead of a repeater. It's aimed at installers who need to place a USB device far from its host computer, such as in a control room or AV rack, without signal loss or added latency. Galvanic electrical isolation between the USB device and controller is a side benefit of the all-fiber design.

• Extends USB up to 40 Meters: Links USB signal up to 130 feet (40 meters) without a repeater, using advanced VCSEL and photodiode technology.
• No Software or Drivers Required: Plug-and-play operation with USB 1.1 (12Mbps/1.5Mbps) compatibility.
• Full Electrical Isolation: The all-fiber design gives complete galvanic electrical isolation between the USB device and the controlling host.
