Description
The OptoLink 2 Fiber Detachable Dual Link DVI Extender is a compact fiber DVI extension solution built for installers who need dual-link DVI signal sent much farther than copper allows without a distribution amplifier. Its transmitter and receiver share the same compact form factor and plug directly into a PC and display.
- Long-Distance Dual-Link DVI: Extends dual-link DVI up to 500 meters (or 300m with OM1 fiber) without a distribution amplifier or repeater.
- High-Resolution Support: Transmits WQXGA (2560x1600) at 60Hz or WQUXGA (3840x2400) at 33Hz over two LC multi-mode fibers.
- Self-EDID Management: A patent-pending Self-EDID feature emulates the display's EDID in the transmitter before installation, easing setup.
- Compact, Direct-Plug Design: Both transmitter and receiver share the same compact dimensions and plug directly into a PC and display.
- Flexible Powering: The transmitter draws power from the DVI pin or an auto-switching +5V adapter; the receiver requires a +5V adapter.
