The OptoLink Two Fibers Detachable DVI Extension Module extends a DVI signal over optical fiber for installations where copper cable runs out of range, built for display systems that need long, secure, interference-free links between a video source and a display.
- Self EDID Programming: Reads and restores a display's EDID automatically just by plugging in, simplifying setup across different resolutions.
- 500m Range at 2K: Extends graphic data up to 500 meters (1,640ft) at 2K resolution over two LC multi-mode fibers.
- 1,500m Range at WUXGA 60Hz: Reaches 1,500 meters (4,920ft) at 1920x1200 resolution and 60Hz over two LC single-mode fibers.
- CWDM Optical Multiplexing: Multiplexes and de-multiplexes Red, Green, Blue, and clock data through a single CWDM optical module.
- Clearly Labeled Modules: Transmitter and receiver are clearly marked to prevent reverse installation; the transmitter can run on a video card's +5V DC while the receiver needs an external adapter.
