ProMaster Professional C-Stand Kit with Turtle Base 5.5' - Black

A professional 5.5' black, steel C-Stand kit with removable turtle base, 40” extension arm, and 2 - 2.5” grip heads. A true workhorse, the ProMaster 5.5' C-Stand Kit has an amazing load capacity of 22 lbs. This kit includes not only the stand, but also a 20" extension arm and two 2.5" grip heads. The stand's turtle base is detachable and the legs fold together for easy storage. This 5.5' stand is shorter and lighter weight than its taller counterparts. This makes it easier to move around and to get lower angles for your lights and modifiers. By setting the extension arm at a downward angle you can achieve even lower height than the stand's minimum working height of 36.5" Rounded t-handles are easy on your hands and can be found on the stand's risers as well as the grip heads. They create a powerful lock when tightened, to prevent slipping. Each of the 2.5" grip heads has multiple size ports (5/8", 1/2", 3/8" & 3/16") for holding items like an extension arm, scrim, flag, baby stud, and more. These 2 1/2" heads rotate for best positioning. A special friction disc creates a powerful connection, so each head won't move after you set its position. This stand is black (to minimize light reflections in the studio) and is constructed of high-strength steel. Both grip heads are made with a strong aluminum alloy. The extension arm is steel. A 5/8" stud is used at the top of the stand for attaching lights or one of the included grip heads. * Please note: the 22 lb load capacity is for the stand only, not including the use the extension arm and grip heads.
