The Sekonic LiteMaster Pro L-478D-U is an incident and flash light meter built for photographers and hybrid stills/video shooters who need precise exposure control across both ambient and flash lighting, including dedicated cine metering modes.

- EV Range -2 to 22.9 at ISO 100: Covers everything from very dim to very bright shooting conditions.
- Cine & HD Cine Modes: Frame rate selection from 1-1,000 fps and shutter angle from 1-358°, with ISO up to 850 for Canon cinema cameras.
- 0.1-Stop Flash Power Control: Fine-grained control for dialing in precise flash output.
- Filtration Compensation Mode: Accounts for filter factor up to 12 EV, useful with dense ND filters.
- Rotating, Retracting Lumisphere: Rotates 90° right and 180° left, and retracts flat for use as a diffuser.
