SmallRig Adapter Plate for NP-F Type Batteries (Supports UPS) 5536 is designed to provide continuous power for mirrorless cameras, monitors, and other equipment using NP-F series batteries. This plate can be mounted using a V-mount plate or the bottom 1/4"-20 threaded holes and accommodates one or two NP-F batteries to power your gear. When two batteries are installed, the hot-swap feature allows you to replace one battery without shutting down connected devices, ensuring an uninterrupted power supply (UPS).
Equipped with multiple output ports—D-Tap, DC (5521), and USB-C—this adapter plate allows you to power several devices simultaneously. The ports are strategically placed to avoid interference with camera operation and the use of top handles. The USB-C port supports up to 36W of input, enabling the plate to function as a charging dock.
An integrated intelligent management chip optimizes both discharging and charging: during discharging, it drains the battery with the lower charge first, switching to parallel output when voltage is low to enable hot-swaps and power high-demand devices. For charging, it prioritizes the higher-charge battery and then switches to simultaneous charging to enhance efficiency.
An independent power switch allows you to check the power status and activate with a single press, while a long press (2s) disables output for all connected devices. This simplifies operation and conserves power by eliminating the need to unplug cables after a shoot. Independent LED indicators for each channel provide clear, at-a-glance battery status updates.
Power Switch Single Press: Displays battery level & enables output.
Long Press (2s): Disables output.
Power Indicator (Red) Lights up when powered on; turns off after ~10 seconds if no load is detected
Solid Red: Normal operation
Rapid Blinking: Abnormal state (e.g., over-current, over-voltage).
Battery Status Indicator Lights up when powered on; turns off after ~10 seconds if no load is detected. Remains on if a load is connected.
During Discharge:
Solid Green: Battery level ≥ 20%
Solid Red: Battery level 10%–20%
Slow Blinking Red: Battery level < 10%
During Charge:
Slow Blinkin
